Default Another class at my LQS, challenging but interesting

I got a call to say that I was the only one who had signed up for the class but as the tutor had to be in the shop all day, I was welcome to do the class so I jumped at the chance to have one to one tuition. The fabrics I chose had a spring feel (wish it would come!) and I particularly liked the green and white. I learnt how to do curved seams! It has taken me a few weeks to finish it but here it is.

I really love your quilt; both the design and the colors. Were the curves difficult?

It looks like you made strips of two colors curving together and then log cabined them around the center block. Is that it?

I got a sewing machine for my husband. Good trade, huh!?!

It is a cute little quilt and looks like a fun skill to have. I love learning new ways to make quilts.
