Default It is slowly coming together

What is it with people who have an obsessive/compulsive disorder? Anyone need to buy one? A disorder - I'm NOT for sale but could easily be had for room and board for a couple weeks, as long as the total tab include much needed ear plugs? I find myself sorting quilting pins . . . buttons . . . lining up things on a table top . . . searching for something very specific only to find myself later with a sticky palm. Want to see what I'm going to be working on again? Wonder how many times Dad carried Poncho in??

it's best not to try to put it out with gasoline.

I'm right there with you! I need the bookcases, shelves, desks to unload my sewing/computer/art supplies to work! Can't do it otherwise - my OCD - analytical brain side won't let it happen otherwise.

Glad to see that you are able to reorganize in another part of the house. In a way it's kind a nice to clean up/declutter right. :p

    It's all lookin' good!

    Love ya! Huggers, Ruby

It looks good Sandy! My sewing studio is coming along slowly. We got it permanently set on blocks Saturday, now DH has to run electricity to it. Maybe then, I can really start pulling it together inside.

That's Nice. That's very Nice! Looking great. Your applique blocks. What is the norm here? Do you sew everything down? If so how? There is no way I would be able to sew around that frog. Do you hand or machine stitch them? Or do you use something like steam a seam and you just don't ever wash it? I have done applique before but it has always been big pieces and I will just do a blanket stitch around them. But how does one do these small pieces? I just made a pillow for the new Grandchild coming to hang on his door. The stars on it were small and when I tried to stitch around them I thought it looked terrible so I left them alone and going to tell mom. "Just don't ever wash it"

    Patrice - check your e-mail later . . . LMFAO

I'm planning to do straight stitching - several times around, not anything precise - to hook the applique down - probably with contrasting colors. Gotta go whole-hog-fire out there wonky, right?
