I have just started using Sew Simple super soft wadding. I really like it and is much cheaper than warm and natural

I live in Alberta Canada and make alot of quilts. I always use Warm and Natural Batting and for extra warmth, I will use flannel for the backing. We use to go camping in the Rocky Mountains where it gets quite cool at night and we were never cold with these quilts.

My favorite batting is Kyoto bamboo/cotton. I personally do not like warm and natural, I find it stiff and thin.

The Kyoto has the best drape, but it fuzzes a LOT while you are quilting. I tried to find an alternative, but so far nothing gives the softness and drape like it, so I deal with the fuzz.
