    Default Guild/Club/I don't know what!

I was at my LQS yesterday and got some info on the local guild or maybe it's just a local guild, I don't know, but it got me thinking. And I'm wondering how may of you are in a Guild, club or group of some sort? If you're not do you want to be?

I've thought about joining one alot but I'm just not sure if it will fit my needs.
To stitch or not to stitch... There is no question.

I'd like to but I just don't have the time to commit.

I have thought about finding one in my area too. I don't know if I want to give up an evening at home for another meeting once a month. I am also not sure I could get my sewing machine out of it's little home and back in again without disturbing the fabric space continuum. Not to mention that I would need to be a contortionist to unplug it. I have thought that it would be nice to share my hobby with other like-minded people, but then, I guess that is why I am here, and have joined several on-line swaps and quilting bees.

Still trying to decide myself! It is fun to get together in groups, though. Everyone has great ideas to share, and just hanging out is fun.

Bonus* Every quilter I know is a good cook.....and when women get together, usually there is food involved. (and that is usually a good thing) Unless you are on a diet!
