    Exclamation This Morning's Surprise

As usual my morning started with a visit to the MSCQ Deal of the Day. (Lots of good stuff shows up there.) However, we all know that. I hope I'm not posting this in an inappropriate section of the forum. I'm a new gal on the block and still have a LOT to learn. On to my surprise . .

As I was scrolling through the MSCQ Notions section I spotted a cute green tin and stopped to check it out. There was my surprise. Bag Balm!!! During radiation treatments (I had a serious war with cancer.) my oncologist suggested that Bag Balm was one of the best applications to my radiation burn site. The balm was very soothing and made life easier during the active treatments. I have significant radiation burn scars and continue to use the balm every morning and again every night. It keeps the skin pliable and prevents the pulling sensation that happens when the scars become dry. The balm doesn't stain or "mark" my clothes so it isn't messy at all. It doesn't leave a greasy film.

I haven't seen the product at pharmacies or big box stores. We have a huge cancer center here in Huntsville, Alabama, and I have been buying Bag Balm there. I don't have a cute green tin but I do have the product.

This is just something I decided to pass on in case anyone might benefit from it.

Bag balm is wonderful and I didn't' realize they sold it here. I am glad you won your battle.

You can also purchase it at Walmart in the Pharmacy department. If you don't see it, just ask the pharmacist. Ours has a huge section of it.

Years ago (and we won't discuss exactly how many) my pediatrician recommended it for tender baby bottoms....or for those with sensitive skin...it is a great product and will also help dry hands when worn with cotton gloves....I like to use this or lotion before putting on my quilting gloves.....I get to quilt and my hands get to heal a little bit...I am sensitive to the sanitizer we use at the restaurant and usually by the time I get home my hands are sore and very dry.

Our local quilt shops carry it around here. Also, you can find it in stores like Southern States-the stores that sell farm and gardening stuff as it was designed for cows udders to keep them clean and soft for the milking. We are just getting the side benefits of it!
