welcome from the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

    Hi neighbor,

There are 2 other persons that I know of here from Holland. Klasien and Leenie. So you don't feel alone, actually never should here, as everybody is real real nice and helpful. Should you have a problem don't hesitate to ask. Once you finish something do post a picture in show and tell as we're curious, at least I'm.
greetings from the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg

Making a quilt is my newest hobby.
I made 3 quilts so far
My next project will be the farmers wife quilt, but I need to save some money to buy more fabric, because I only have two different series of fat eights and thats not enough I think.
Fabric in the Netherlands is very very expensively.
    We pay 16,95 euro's for 1yard, thats about $13.50
Sorry if my English is not correct.

Here a tip: why don't you buy on the market or use fabrics from shirts/blouses etc. That's keeping my fabric budget down

Welcome from Massachussets, USA. Check out the groups here. We have a farmers wife group called Farmers Granddaughter. You would be welcome. A lot of the members are using scrappy.

Our fabrics here are around $10-13 a yard except for sales, coupons, daily deals and sites like thousandsofbolts.com We fabric lovers feel your pain.

Your English is just fine. No worries, we quilters tend to speak the same language no matter what that language is.
