portable table for retreat
Hi all,
I'm going to a quilt retreat in a few weeks and it has been suggested that I bring a small folding table. Those of you who have been to retreats, do you have any suggestions?
Thanks

I would think one of the white, plastic, 4-foot tables that fold in half would be ideal. Those are usually about $30.00 max. A card table might work.

I would check out Walmart, Sams Club or Costco for their 4ft folding tables that are fairly lightweight with a carrying handle when folded up. Some of them let you adjust the height of the table too. The 4ft size should be large enough to fit a good sized machine with extension table and still have room for your rulers and a small cutting mat.
I have used this specific brand/model and they work great!

A 4ft folding table is what I was going to suggest. I love mine. I have been known to set it up in LR to do other crafts on.

If you are doing small piecing or just block construction all weekend you can even skate by with sturdy TV tray.
I'd also say Sam's/Costco for one of the smaller tables.
Remember to bring an extension cord. I have also packed a lot of my "loose" stuff in a small garbage can with extra bags. It helps to keep my area tidier.

This would be the best one. I have one that doesn't fold, but it would be so neat and tidy to take along a folding one!
