This is stunning! The pillows are treasures for sure! Nicely done. Glad you got the pics to work! Thank you for sharing!

Why not do something like a crazy quilt? Even if you only want to use it as a wall hanging. I came up w/one way to do the one I did but as I started deconstructing, I decided to do what I did. Start taking it apart and see how you feel. It is a beautiful dress and I"m sure you can come up with something. The dress I did was made from polyester so I felt that at least it could be cleaned. If I can help, please let me know.

    You did an incredible job.

One thing some women do with their wedding gowns is make christening outfits for their babies. I've done that for family members. and they have turned out beautifully.

That is beautiful and what a wonderful way to keep the memories of the gown. My daughter has been seeing some made into tree skirts and has been kind of thinking about doing that with her's.

Glad you finally got the pics up. Amazed at what you made from the gown. The lace up pillow is my fave I think. My sis borrowed my gown when she got married and that is the last I saw of it, lol.

I just don't know what to do with it mainly because it's so plain. If it had some lace then a crazy quilt would look amazing, but with a bit sheet of all white material it won't be too interesting to look at lol The embroidery parts will, but that's only a small part of the dress.

That was my plan, but just before the wedding MIL gave me the christening gown that DH's late grandmother made for him and it's GORGEOUS! It's all knit (or crocheted?) and it looks like it was made yesterday even though DH is 32! So I need a new plan lol

A tree skirt would be very cute Not for me though because the cats would have it shredded lol The tree skirt is their favourite playing/sleeping spot when the tree is up.
