Default My first attempt at quilting.

My first attempt at quilting. It's a true Monet. Looks good from far away, but up close not so good. Got alot to learn about good bindings and the quilting process. But I look at it as learn as you go. The more I learn and practice the better I'll get. It was fun.

Very nice for a first attempt. My first try was no where near that good. Love the quilt btw.

I bet this first one is going to be your favorite goofs and all and you won't part with it.
Somehow the very first project attaches it self to you. All the hard work , goofs and all proves to your self that you can make something from scratch with your own hands. Makes you feel like a pround mama.
I think you did a great job and I bet that will look great on your table. Thanks for sharing and hope to see more.

Pretty, pretty colors. Your quilt looks great (as far as I can see.) If someone is going to get close and inspect it, smack 'em on the back of the head!

You did good! It is a nice feeling when you completed a quilt! Welcome!

God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.
