    A gal I used to work this ordered this for her aunt, whose birthday is next week. She wanted navy blue with a cream and blue liner......took a while, but I found them!!

    She wanted longer straps, so I had to adapt the pattern to do that.

    The pattern is the 'Mini Bow Tucks' by Quilts Illusrated.

    Everything is cool! I have just started making them but don't have pictures. But if anyone could help me... I am trying to come up with a tote style bag for an 8th grade boy to carry/store his drawing tablets and pencils and composition writting books in and have it not look like a girlie tote bag or large purse.. It has to look like something for a boy and a closure of some kind. I can come up with all kinds of girl style ones, but this one can't come up with a style for a boy (other than the fabric) and his drawing and writing supplies. Any suggestions?
