There is already a quilt shop in Hermiston called Auntie Ida's. I bought my Bernina 830 from them 2 1/2 years ago. I was just there a couple of weeks ago getting it worked on. They had a new fabric line. They have lots of classes. It's a very nice cute shop. Very homey. Are you taking it over?

I just moved to the Oregon coast and would love to visit your shop! Where in Oregon?

I wish you the greatest of luck in this exciting journey

Welcome and good luck! I went to see how far you are from Boise, but unfortunately 3 hours away!

You didn't mention where you are opening the shop in Oregon. I would like to know as we travel a lot and I am from Washington State originally and I have an aunt and uncle in Lake Oswego so we come to Oregon about every couple of years. My hubby always asks me if there is a quilt store I want to stop at in the area of where we are driving and this way I can say "yes" to his question when we are in Oregon. We often travel to small areas and go a long way to "Sisters Quilt Store". Love that place. But, I like to spread the money around. Good luck to your new endeavor. I am sure you will have a great following. Piece and blessings, Vicki

    Vicki -- You're back! We've missed you!

And MaterialGirl, I may make it up to your shop one of these days. Wishing you much success!
