"Ignore List"in settings...

What is this? I know it can truly be used to ingore someone...can you still get PM's from them?

I did notice it removes posts from that person on my "My Activity" which made it easier when you got chatter boxes on your friend list and don't want to swim through all the posts to find posts by one person. Oh, I did learn you can't ignore yourself! lol

Paula - try it . . . sorry I'm one of your chatter box friends - but if it does go awry you can always contact Al (Bill Nye) and have him change it back.

If there are particular members that bother you and you do not want to see their posts or receive Private Messages and Emails from them, then you can add these members to your 'Ignore List'. There are several ways to do this:

Oh, it's real little at the top...didn't know it was there. private messages and NEW POSTS I missed that when the forum changed...what else am I missing. Thanks, I'm done now...

I used it for what was an obvious spam account. I forgot what it was posting, but it was a link to a strange and random website and nothing else. I doubt that there was more than that posted but once I clicked ignore all the nonsense was gone and it was at a weird hour so not many other people seemed to be on at the time either. I hope I'm not that annoying to be ignored but hey like Popeye says "I yam what I yam and thats all that I yam"! Lol!

You? No. Me? Probably lol I remember a member posting a few months back about using this feature, but haven't had any reason to use it... Yet... lol
