    Default Embroidered snowflake

Here is the snowflake I made. Takes a while to make them but I'm going to make some more. Since they're no longer being accepted for Sandy Hook, I will find something to do with them next year.

I stitched one out on navy blue fabric with a TINY bit of white and it is such a pretty design!

I think the lacey free standing flakes make nice ornaments for the tree. What size did you make?

Free standing lace does take awhile to sew out. I have made quite a few in the past.I must say yours looks beautiful.
I was going to make some for Sandy also but two times my machine messed them up when they were almost done. So I said forget it.
    Yours did come out beautiful

I made the medium one since my machine is a 4 x 4. I have a light blue thread that I might try with white in the bobbin.

Thanks! DH likes it and wants me to make more and put some on the tree next year...so I guess that's what I'll do.

I really like the larger one...did you get that at the same site? They are both beautiful. I made a second one tonight - the same as the first. I finished quilting a quilt while the machine was embroidering.
