If you can't find them in Canada, you can make your own!

Wendy, I've looked all over and I can't find them so I don't they are available here in Canada although one lady from Newfoundland said she found them at Sobey's. I checked my local Sobey's tho to no avail.

I'm definitely going to check out this homemade version.

Hi from Ottawa... Nope we don't have those color catchers here either and I sure looked. Had to get them at Walmart across the border ... They do work , and pull the red out... I wash my fabric in the machine with them before cutting. They are also good, for washing quilts after completion when the dye has run a bit. there is also a liquid called retayne that our quilt shop carries. Haven't used it yet though.

Good idea as that's a lot of color catchers that came out pretty dark. I usually use one color catcher per quilt and maybe 2 when washing a load of new fabrics that are pretty dark. May in Jersey

That would have been me My local Sobeys carries "Dr. Beckmann Colour & Dirt Collector" Apparently works just like Colour Catchers. Haven't tested this theory yet, but will as soon as I make something that actually releases dye lol
