Talking I Spy Ragged Quilt - Finished!!!!

Sooooo glad to be finished...my poor hands ache with the cutting for the ragged edges. Needless to say, I now have the die for it!!!

That turned out really cute.....wash some dishes by hand...the hot water will help ease the ache in your poor hands....quickest and best way I know to get some relief and the dishes get done as well.

Well, you have the cutting die now - so that means more rag quilts in your future. I sure like the spring-loaded 'ragging' scissors. Easy on the hands - keep you from cutting in too far, and make nice clean cuts.

    Great quilt.

    Looking great! Well Done!

God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

You quilt turned out great, it looks very effective with the black squares.
Remember, people will see your quilts long after you are gone. . . Not your housework!!

How very pretty. never thought of doing I spy in a rag quilt. I also need to invest in a pair of spring loaded clippers.

Very cute - and I can sympathize with the hurting hands! I just finished one and used the fiskar rag cutting scissors (that Sandy mentioned). Worked great until the dang spring sprung - and they were brand new! So - let me know how that rag die works out for you because I have a GO and that die might just be on my Christmas list!
