Default My soldier and his quilt :D

Wanted to share this pic with all of you. Just got it a couple minutes ago. Made my heart smile, but had a hard time fighting back the tears. I wish more of the ladies on here could do this. My heart is overflowing right now with pride for our young men and women in the military.

Kelly (my soldier) has promised that any quilts we send will go to his guys who need love from home! The quilt I made for him is top of my list of favorite quilts I've made so far! Thinking of making another! Marilyn.....thank you so very much for doing this! ***HUGS*** YOU have made a difference!!

Contact Libby (EnumclawGramma) I sent mine to her soldier that is a friend of hers, and he gave it to my soldier. I can tell you there is no feeling like THIS in the world.

I still need to make my pillowcase to send with the USA quilt. I'd hoped to have it done by now, but this week has just been a big pile of useless with being sick.

Great picture and great memories for both you and the soldier.

That is wonderful! as soon as I get my next one done, i'll get in touch with you for the address. I did one for Quilt of Valor, the very first quilt I did. Have not heard who got it, and as I understand it, they give it to them when they get home, which is a nice home-coming present, but what about the boys who are overseas?
