Default A couple things I did today.

here's a couple things I got done today.YESSS another Gods Eye block(wall hanging) no not perfect but I think it looks good hanging in my sewing room. I made a pattern for the dogwood block and done echo quilting on it.I have never done that before.I thought I would do a marathon of sewing today as we are going to current river in MO tomorrow morning to take a 7 hour canoe trip.Never done that before either .What have I got my self into??? Anyway I need some ideas on what type of quilt I could make with the remaining fabric these pillow cases are made of. I have at least 5 yards of it left, so it would have to be primarily this print. Any good ideas ladies??? Thanks in advance.
    Hugs

Rhonda, are your pillow cases flannel? I have a single pillow case, flannel, that I would swear is the exact same print.

Okay, what can you do with the rest? How about one of those runners for the bottom of your bed? The lining in a new bag? The center and border one a serger quilt? Curtains? A table runner? Sewing machine cover/s?

Rhonda, OMG you are a brave woman to do a 7 hour float on the current... good luck with that.... drink lots of water....rest often.... but your blocks are great

    Hi Rhonda,

Your work is so pretty! I love the Dogwood. I grew up on the Current River and it got it's name due to the strong current. Have a great time, but be careful!

My DH and I have another home outside of Van Buren MO about 8 miles from Current River. We love the river. If your are going to be close to Van BurenMO there is a great quilt shop there and a few more in neighboring towns.
