Talking A BIG hello from Scotland(again)!

    Hi there,

it's me again. I have been AWOL for a while now(sorry) but am back now!
There was a post on Facebook today featuring a wee chap giggling, prompted me to get back into the swing of things here, I loved posting and reading and the "vibe" of the forum, I just had a lot on my plate that's all. Not saying I still don't have a lot on my plate, it's just that the major worry I was dealing with is slightly less bothersome.

Right! I had better get reading and catch up on all the gossip!

    Urgh....health issues.
I am pregnant(as you probably know) but on top of that I have a lump on my throat that the doctor was concerned about. SO it was trips to the hospital etc. Basically to cut a long story short, They are pretty sure it's excess thyroid tissue in the wrong place(made bigger by my pregnancy) but they can only know 100% if they do a test which involves radiation, which I can't have yet as I am pregnant :/
Anyways, I will worry about all that and what it means later, if I have to. The doctor is reassured by the fact it's not growing etc etc so I just have to keep and eye on it. Even if it was/is the BIG "C" I have been told it's a pretty harmless/docile type so I "shouldn't" have too much to worry about(I hope)!

So glad to see you back. Wishing you had not scooped up so much on your plate. Dealing with the pregnancy is enough at one time. Praying the Dr is right about your lump. Several of us have been there . . . even our dear Paula is going through something similar right now. We pray it is as suspected!!

Like I said - so glad to see you!!!

Thanks everyone! Nice to be back!

I will post pics for sure, I am a while off(if the last two are anything to go by) it will be about 14 weeks to go. The baby is doing LOTS of kicking, which is great. I/we had the scan at 20weeks and I think I may have noticed the sex, I am holding off buying any pink put it that way!
