I love that block. What is the name of it? It will play well with the other blocks in Jan's quilt.

Awesome block! You did some tiny piecing for this 6” block….really done well…that was not easy.

              It's a disappearing hourglass block.

Comfort Quilt for Jan Otten, who is facing cancer treatment

                        About this Group

This quilt will be for Jan Otten, husband of long time member Klasien, who was diagnosed with breast cancer, and is facing surgery in the near future. He and Klasien live in the Netherlands, but have visited the US often, including. Hamilton and Missouri Star.

Our proposed quilt will be a large lap quilt made with 6-1/2” blocks using a blue/ white/ black/ grey colorway. Jan is an avid fan of Donar basketball team. They have supported their avid fan by sending beautiful floral arrangements to Jan as he goes through tests and scheduling for his surgery.

Details: quilt will be approximately 60” b6 76”. Approximately 80 blocks. If you want to make more than one, it will be appreciated to get the right number of blocks.

Let’s stick to a blue/white/black/grey colorway. Hopefully we can incorporate the logo into some of the blocks.

Since the blocks are small in size, I advise keeping the design simple.

Let’s try to get our blocks to me by April 30.

Please hold your blocks until April 10, as I
