    Cute pattern.

    Make sure the machine needle is in the center position. Some machine stitches have the needle moved over which can cause issues. Check that each block is 2 inches after it's sewn....

    I use a work bench that is adjustable in height. This one is 48x24 and a good size for the sewing room. I had a 72 inch WB but sent that to the garage. I have a wire basket under it to store notions....

    You may not need the expense of the boards. For yardage, I ruler fold on a 6.5 inch ruler. Then fold the fabric in half. These stack on the closet shelf.
