  2. Re: Twobees Fabric have you ordered from them

I haven't ordered from them recently, but have ordered several times in the past. Loved working with them: good fast shipping, good prices, and had some wonderful fabric I had not found elsewhere. ...

Re: Need to buy new 1/4 inch presser foot

sewingpartsonline.com should have it. That's where I got mine. You will just need your model number, although I think a lot of the Janomes (other than the newest ones) are interchangeable.

Re: Make a "Daisy Chain" Quilt with Jenny!

I like Northcott Toscana for multicolored solid precuts. I think Missouri Star only has the blue, green and purple one right now, but there are other combinations.

    Re: Wednesday, oh Wednesday

Consider a camping type system instead. More sanitary and less work. Might also be an issue to have an outhouse that close to a body of water(the pond).

    Well done MSQC

Order placed 6/7, shipped 6/10 and this included 4 yard good pieces along with some other things. In addition, 3 of those yard good pieces were on sale, so I saved some money too. All my recent...

Re: Update on ants in my Handi Quilter Sweet 16

I have no idea if this would work with red fire ants. I had ants starting to invade my kitchen, and my Mom said to spread some powder around the borders where I had seen them. I just used baking...

Re: So annoyed at Keepsake Quilts

I don't shop there so am not familiar with their system. If they have a "wish list" system, couldn't you use that instead?

Katrina, I suspect it is not that the titanium was no good, she got a crummy product. I would not be afraid to try titanium, but I would try a known brand from a reliable source such as M* and a...

On a lot of these things, quality is worth the money. Watch black Friday sales for olfa blades; several places use them as "doorbusters". 10 packs half price or something similar.

There are products called Retyane and Rit Die Fixative that I would try, one or the other. Unfortunately, vinegar does not work particularly well with cotton dies. I would try the fixatives, and if...
