I don't sew while we are driving but yes I do sew in the trailer. As a matter of fact I just found a travelling quilters blog? called happy camper. She has even less room than I do!

We have stopped in Tulsa for two days to see family and hit the stores we didn't have at home like Joann's and Lowes. This evening we will be in Wichita...

    Re: Christmas riddle

Why can't the tag have both names on it? Since it's her first that would make sense. I bought ornaments for both my daughters when they were little. One still has them, the other moved to much and...

    Re: Embroidery machine

I have a Husky/Viking Topaz 50 which both sews and embroiders. The largest hoop it will take is a 200 x 360 which is basically the size of a piece of paper, big enough for anything I have ever done....

Re: What to do with this?

I agree with the baby blanket idea. Maybe you could find some moon and stars flannel to back it with.

    Re: EASY CHRISTMAS PANEL PLACEMATS!

She sure wastes a lot of material. My mother is having a fit in my head. She was from the depression era where you squeezed everything. Nice easy pattern but I'm not a fan of the materials she chose.

I took a trip down memory lane yesterday. I was at my sister's house so I used her 1974 Bernina sewing machine. The good was how easy it is to take apart and clean, the bad was I kept forgetting to...

Re: What do you call various size quilts?

I call them runners. So much easier to do seasonal changes when you don't have to change a big quilt.
