Re: Cutting mat -- which is the best?

They definitely do NOT discount at shows! I'm sure if you bought a whole table set they would, but not for individual mats and whatnot.

Re: Cutting mat -- which is the best?

Does anyone know if Martelli's mats and things are discounted much at shows?? Or would I be better off waiting for a 50% off sale?

    Hello from Oklahoma!

I don't *think* I've ever really introduced myself on here... At first I joined just as a lurker-but I've enjoyed reading everyone's comments so much the last few months I've been chiming in! I...

Re: Don't you just hate when...

I finally decided to sew up some blocks I'd made a couple years back-couldn't find the smallest ones! Who knows where they are. I just made the quilt a tiny bit smaller. :)

Re: I'm trying to understand this

While I am no longer practicing I grew up LDS... while my family wasn't very good about food storage (with 7 kids, nothing lasted-hah!)-I knew families who made this type of purchase.

Re: He Went to the Rainbow Bridge

I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm glad you can be at peace with making the right decision because you did. It's a very special, somber moment you shared together.
  13. Today's daily deal got me.... May 27th 2015.

Uh-oh.... I've been eyeing that orange peel for a while now, and I am a sucker for charm packs... So as you can imagine the deal got me today! Whoops!

    Re: Stripology Ruler

Ohhhh man... I've been lusting over this ruler for a looooooooooooooong time-this might just be the push I needed to go for it!
  15. Quilted about a third of the quilt, now I don't like the quilting!

Alright-so heres the deal. I have this quilt that I have quilted about a third, maybe a fourth of. I don't really like what I was doing, and I'm definitely not a stitch-picker. :) I really do take...

Re: What rotary cutter to buy

The other day I had just put a new blade in, and I wasn't using the "automatic" cutter, just the regular one(both Olfas)... I literally crossed one arm over the other just to move my ruler and the...

    Re: Giveaway Week 18 May 8th - 15th

My mother got a liver transplant in 2005. They had literally told her she had maybe two months to live when the right size liver came along. Unfortunately the donor came from somebody else losing a...

I think they are 1 3/4... I wanted them to be a little bigger... This was just a small hanging, might change the size for my next one.

    Re: Giveaway Week 17 May 1st - 8th

Well, as I didn't know how to thread a sewing machine about four years ago-I have a quilt I started when I first started learning... And it isn't done yet. Don't get me wrong, TONS have been made in...
