    I prewash all my yardage with color catchers and have had no problems, and always wash the completed item with them as well. I don't use alot of precuts, but haven't had any trouble when I have.

    I make baby quilts with cotton tops/flannel backs all the time without any issue. I do prewash all cotton yardage and all flannel. Increasing stitch length for quilting and machine binding is helpful...
