  2. Re: Tube quilts (like Summer in the Park) remnants...found any way to use those triangular pieces?

Thank you! I think that will work! Iíd googled a fair amt without getting much about remnants or tube scraps.
  5. Tube quilts (like Summer in the Park) remnants...found any way to use those triangular pieces?

I made a large lap Summer in the Park 3 years ago and this past spring, I made a modified M* heart quilt. I have left over blocks and big pieces of the tube ends. Since those pieces are triangular,...

    Re: Flannel Backing?

I'm using a lap quilt backed with flannel right now. I didn't prewash it and it was fine, but it was a tightly woven thicker flannel that raveled little during cutting. That said, there is a marked...

Re: Please help me figure this out

I usu do 2.25 because that's what I was taught before precuts. : ) I also like pieced bindings and do them fairly often. As a couple others said, you can put short sections of a coordinating...

Re: Seriously Disappointed in Order Handling

I'm really glad to hear that! I think that offer and no follow thru was the worst story. I hate bait/switch things and it didn't seem like them. Really glad they made amends.

    I got a note about...

Re: Seriously Disappointed in Order Handling

Did I read her comment wrong or did you? My understanding is that she didnít get the 3 yd cut and due to MS delay, she couldnít find it anywhere else.

I'm still trying to figure out about the order I placed for Christmas. I think I beat the deadline for ordering. I was visiting my daughter, had it shipped there and received part of it, but the...
  16. Re: Need a quick pattern for lots of left over strips, squares and rectanges - crib size

    Two ideas:
Square in a square uses squares and strips and looks nice. Your longer strips could be sashing.

A log cabin using one of the squares then using lights on one half and dark on the...

Re: The Easiest Bargello Pattern in the World!

Thank you. I love it. I have a striped batik or two, but they’re pretty subtle and I’m not sure how they’d work.

Thanks for her site as well.

Re: What can I do with this? Any ideas?

Pinterest has a lot of panel quilts. I’m a sucker for novelty and panels, but have done just a few. I don’t see how to post a picture or I’d add one.
  25. Re: Half square triangles using Jenny's Around the world method...stretchy...ideas??
