    Re: Wool Ironing Mats

I was able to order one but maybe their site has been inundated with quilters now? Keep trying!

Re: Trying to order daily special

I wouldn't *think* so since they are not normally that great a deal. I'm pretty sure a shop owner could purchase them cheaper directly.

Re: Trying to order daily special

They described them as "unique" does that mean there was only one available of each?

    Re: Wool Ironing Mats

Okay, I think you have the winner! I was just coming to post about saddle pads for horses which are 30 x 30 and 1/2" thick for $25 dollars up depending on where you buy them. We ordered one...

    Re: Wool Ironing Mats

I was thinking about trying it that way, too. The cut off points kind of bothered me.

Probably not the only one, but, give it a try and you will be amazed at how easy it is! And how quickly it helps to move your current project along since you are not continuously pulling the pieces...

Re: Venting, do you think I was out of line

You were not at all out of line.

And....from a purely practical point of view - those "onesies" will likely never be used! I have seen this done and, quite frankly, they did not end up being...
  10. Re: Cute Baby Blanket from leftovers of a Long Arm Class

Great use of what would have otherwise been discarded! I hate waste and am so glad to see these put to good use. :-)

    TFS and enjoy your vacation!

    Re: Wool Ironing Mats

Like you, I don't get along with wool too well, either, BUT I love my wool pressing mat! It really does make a difference. Best price I have seen is at Quilt in a Day when they have a sale. Mine is...

    Re: newest finish

Love the soft colors on this. I was very tempted by that DD. Which pattern did you use? And you did a beautiful design on the scallop. I have not tried that yet but hope to someday.

Re: I Need Your Thoughts on This

I am So sorry. I have four grown children, but only one married and they all live close by. DIL is wonderful about sending Thank You's and my kids always verbally thank me, too. But, my cousin, who...

  19. Re: Make a "Road Trip" Map Applique Quilt with Jenny Doan

True, I appreciate the tutorials, even if I know it's unlikely I will ever make the quilt. We won't all like the same things.
  20. Re: Make a "Road Trip" Map Applique Quilt with Jenny Doan

I like this one, but it's not going to the top of "the never ending list". I was thinking it would be cool to get a fabric that represented each state you wanted to feature. For instance I have a...

Beautiful, Myrna, but now the tears are really flowing.

Having to make that decision three times last year - April, August and December, I sure know how you feel.
