    Re: Innova vs Handiquilter?

I don't own either but I've quilted on both at different studios. I'd go with the Innova the table/frame is very sturdy and you don't have those pesky plastic strips to deal with.

Poll: Re: Sea Turtles A or B?

I vote B since its a rectangle it might be long enough to cover your feet better. Other than that they are both beautiful and I couldn't choose.
  5. Re: Jenny's Jelly Roll Bargello...has anyone made one?

Well I didn't do Jenny's but I did my own version of one by Ponds and Foster. I sewed the strips together two at a time then sewed those pairs to other pairs until I had them all sewn together. ...

  9. Re: recommendations for table-top free-motion quilting machine

Juki 2010. Juki's are work horses. The 2010 is a straight stitch machine so good for piecing and FMQ. There is one in the Huntsville Alabama Craigslist for $600 right now.

I've had the F300 and now I have the F600. I've loved them both. So I imagine the F400 is great too. I bought the F300 a few years back and added the knee lift and table to it. The main...

It looks beautiful the way it is. Are you sure you need to enlarge it? Have you checked the bed size at the facility? This size seems more manageable if she wanted to take it with her to a common...

It looks like their SR2 frame that can be broken down to crib size or built up to Queen. You can put most domestic machines on it. I'd ask the seller what machine they had on it. Also make sure...
  16. Re: adding binding by machine...Why is it SO MESSY for me?

One of the things that helped me was running the edge of the quilt through my serger so I'm certain all the three layers are together. It also helps me clean up any wonky edges.

  18. Re: adding binding by machine...Why is it SO MESSY for me?

I put my binding on by machine too. I found that if I ran the quilt through my serger first that it helped. Then I knew my layers were staying together. Then when I put binding on I use my MuVit...
