    I did one of those 'flanges' on my recent quilt. (didn't know that's what it was called. I call it flat piping, lol). They really do look good and this quilt you're doing is fabulous.

    I bought a cone of thread and made my quilt and then found out that it was a Madeira overlocker thread. I've since used it for making loads of bags with no problems at all.

    Try this. She shows you how to do it on a small table. I've just done a double bed quilt using this and I can't tell you how easy it was.

    My second bag. I used the same design as my owl bag, 'cause I like it. :D I'm still having a problem getting a nice pic of the lining though. Will really have to work on that. It's a decent size...
