I love this, love anything that gives the impression of curves. I guess this will be on my ever growing list of things to do. It really looks great in the blue/yellow colorway.

    Re: Happy Tuesday!!

I am excited, today I am delivering a quilt top to a long armer. The top turned out so well that I plan on entering it in our guild show in Oct. That is the reason for the pro quilt person, I could...

    Re: Good Monday Morning

Good luck with the embroidery machine quilting. I once used some redwork designs that worked out well, not too dense for a quilt.
I am plugging away at that B Hunter mystery, whew, each block has...

    Re: Good Sunday Morning

I started sewing on the B Hunter Frolic yesterday, got some parts sewn and laid out one block to decide if it is worth the work. I really liked most of my fabric choices except the background. The...

Lobster rolls, yummy, wish they were available here. We can get shrimp and blue crab easily but lobster is rare. I have seen them in tanks and always felt so sorry for them, I understand that once...
  6. Re: An Eventful Day - A Trip to the Hospital :(

So sorry you both had this scare and glad it was not worse. Sleeping in a hospital is difficult at best and truthfully there is no place like home.

Re: Quilting in the hoop questions

I did quilting on my embroidery machine prior to selling it fairly successfully. If you do a search this subject has been discussed several times and you will probably find lots more info.

    Re: Welcome Tuesday

I have a small tray with a suction cup in the shower, every once in a while it decides to let go and clatter to the floor. It is always at night.:o

    Re: I'm Curious To Know.....???

Mine is a peanut butter tan which is the color of all the bedrooms in our house. I have gotten used to it and don't mind it at all. One day I will probably paint it but the thought of moving...

    Re: WIP - January 17-23, 2020

I have been cutting and sewing on binding plus I got a smallish quilt sandwiched yesterday.

    Re: Thursday hellos!

We have a temporary reprieve from the rain today but it will be back and bring some cold temps with it. Cold for us anyway, down to the freezing level and below.
I am glad today will be decent as I...

    Re: quilter review

I have a June Taylor version [actually have two sizes] and use it almost daily. I certainly use it every time I cut out a quilt. I prefer the larger one but the smaller one travels well.

Rain is here, it will be soaking us for several days. I do believe the drought is over.
I am about over my cold, just an infrequent cough or sniffle, thankfully.

  20. Re: Anyone try the Quilt as You Go Hexi yet?

I made a few with Christmas fabric and gave them to friends. I was not thrilled with the outcome but it was probably user error. They seemed a bit poofy in the centers. I used the little clips...

    Re: Rotary Cutter Size

If there is any way to cut out your drunkard's path with a Go cutter it will make life easier for you. That cutter made the one I did easy to sew curves as it has a ^ built in to line things up.
