    Re: North Star Quilt

And I just realized I posted the wrong pic. The pic I posted was of the quilt top. This is the pic of the finished quilt:

    Re: North Star Quilt

Thank you, guys. I'm sorry I've been AWOL of late. Just volunteered for way too many things. But it was all good. Getting back to sewing and gardening.

The quilt was paper pieced, and it was very...

    North Star Quilt

Found this pattern in the Nov/Dec 2017 issue of Quiltmaker magazine. Fell in love with the pattern. Very easy pattern to follow. It was a fun quilt to make.

  4. Re: Make a " Kite Season quilt" with Jenny!!

Cute quilt. Would definitely make a cute baby quilt.
I would probably use charm packs instead of a layer cake to make the quilt smaller.
Seems like a fun and easy quilt to put together.

    Re: It's a foggy Tuesday

    Good morning!
    Foggy here, too.
And I DO have berries to pick. We grow and sell blueberries. It takes us four hours to pick since it's just my Hubby and me. Then we spend hours sorting and packaging...

Looks cute. Love the color. And that border fabric just sets it off. Nice!

    Re: Mystery Fat Quarters

I like the mystery fat quarters. Any fat quarters that I don't think I'll use are always used as gifts or exchange. For the dirty Santa gift exchanges, I will attach a fat quarter to the gift. Folks...

Re: quilt pattern for lap quilt

I am very fond of the disappearing 9-patch because they look good, you can use any type of fabrics (and the look changes with the fabrics you choose), it is VERY easy and fast to put together, and...

  10. Re: Stained Glass Poppy Applique Wall hanging

    Love this!
Funny, cuz I just watched that video yesterday and thought it was something I would like to hang on the wall. You did an awesome job. And stained glass is supposed to have bold colors!...

    Controlled Scrappy Quilt [Stash Buster]

I grabbed my hefty bag of scraps, bits 'n pieces and started sewing them together. I figured I could use up ALL of my scraps. HA! I don't think I even made a dent in the scrap pile!

    I did not use...

Re: Phone book for paper foundation

I, too, often use phone book pages. Ink does not come off at all. You get a LOT of pages; great way to use up those bits and pieces piling up in your stash. You don't have to start in the middle; you...

    LOVE those pillows!
    Good Morning (or afternoon) all.
COLD here today. We even got a light dusting of snow last night.
Had a set of twins born last night in the cold (of course). Boy and girl...

  16. Re: Jelly roll pattern fit for Kaffe Fassett?

I made this quilt using a weird aboriginal jelly roll fabric I had on hand. Might work for Kaffe fabric as well.
It's a pattern from Cozy Quilt Designs called "Hanging Gardens."

Re: Middle of the Week and all is fine?

I am so NOT a morning person (and I'm a farmer), but I've been up since 4am (couldn't sleep), so I actually had the pleasure of reading your post IN THE MORNING.

    LOL

    Re: Anyone own this ruler?

    Same here, Monique! :icon_rofl: :icon_rofl: :icon_rofl:

That's an interesting pattern. And it appears that the curves are more gentle than, say, a drunkards path. Might be easier. (if there is...

    Re: Tulip time

Very pretty tulips. Your hostas are a lot farther along than mine.
Lots of wild turkeys here, too. What's up with that?

Re: What to do with a layer cake.....

I agree Double Slice LC would be a very easy and pretty pattern to use that pretty fabric.

Yes, you can change just about any recipe into a vegetarian dish... just don't add the meat. I was a veggie for five years and didn't have a problem with it until I went to restaurants ... then it...
