    Re: Apple Pie to freeze

That's what I was thinking. We had a trick at the hotel to turn a pie upside down to cut it, after it's cold of course. lol. It cuts really cleanly, especially smaller cuts.
  3. Re: What would you make if you were making a red quilt?

Re: Fully Cooked Boneless Turkey Breasts???

I'm happy you checked it out! 1lb sounds like a lot but it's really only 16 ounces. A pound of mac and cheese is not the same as a fluffy bowl of spaghetti. I actually bought them to make enchiladas.

Re: Fully Cooked Boneless Turkey Breasts???

    Re: What a day!

It's sounds fun to be around friends again, that's what I miss most. I don't miss working in a kitchen anymore though. I just bought a beach chair to sit out in the sun. Thing is, that it won't stop...
  13. Re: OK, What's cooking in your house for Christmas Dinner?

LOL Terry. When my dh and me went to the movies he always fell asleep. Why did we spend this much for a nap.
  14. Re: OK, What's cooking in your house for Christmas Dinner?

I think a turkey breast/w gravy, sweet potatos, a side salad and an apple tart tatin. :) I did come upon another tart you might want to try. It's with shallots. Since they are sweet it would make a...
  15. Re: OK, What's cooking in your house for Christmas Dinner?

I'm with you being by myself. I like your menu! I love lobster and I have crab legs in the freezer. I do have one store that sells slices of pie and cake so I might indulge a little because I never...

Re: How Do YOu Charge for a Handmade Item?

I think I would look up on Ebay and Etsy to see what the going price is first. Then what I did was when I was sewing little girls dresses I took the cost of supplies and multiplied it by three. I...
  18. Re: Make a "Here Comes the Sun" Dresden Quilt with Jenny Doan of Missouri Star

So then your trimming the seams and hiding threads while your ironing then. I think I'd rather turn it. lol
  19. Re: How does Pantone choose color of the year?

Re: Pantone Color of the Year 2019 is...

I have a coral tee shirt on right now! I think lots of colors go with it. Not sure of a full room of it though, more of an accent.
