    Re: question about cutting mats

I have Olfa and Martelli. I once owned a Fiskars, but I gave it away. I would rank them, from best to worst, Martelli, Olfa, Fiskars, with a huge gap in quality between each. I also have an Altos...

Re: Knee lift - anyone use it?

    Re: Scissors for small hands?

I use a pair of Fiskars school scissors for jobs where I can't risk pointy scissors. They're easiest to find in September when school supplies are being promoted.

I'm not an orange person, but I love your quilt! It makes me happy just looking at it. And it will be a terrific baby quilt!

I think you should finish it and gift it without apologies. I think...

    Re: Smaller machine for piecing

I may be too late, but I wanted to chime in to say that Brother makes excellent "entry level" machines. They are lightweight, yet tough as nails. They sew beautifully, too.

    Please let us know what...

  18. Like the Q-Zone, can you quilt something larger than your fram?

Jean, that's a beautiful quilt and a fabulous reason to make it. You've found a way to memorialize the great experience of a theatrical production with a most meaningful momento. Really nicely done!...

Re: Prayers Please - DS#1 is in the hospital

Thanks be to God for answered prayers. I'm glad that this was "just" a wake-up call and that your son is out of the hospital. If's also good to know that he's going to take his health seriously.
