    Re: Storm at sea

Another really nice couple of templates for a Storm at Sea quilt are made by Deb Tucker or Studio 180 Designs. One of the advantages of Deb Tucker's tools is that she includes fabric cutting...

    Re: Embroidery machine

Do you want to (legally) sew Disney designs? If you do, then you have only one choice: BROTHER. Only Brother is licensed to sew Disney creations.

Having said that, I've owned two Brother...

    Re: House Selling Angst

@Denise: Yes, my mind has certainly wandered down that path!

@MSN: Exactly my thoughts today when the pressure was gone from our realtor to sign the OK-we-understand, get-out-of-jail-free...

    Re: House Selling Angst

How fun to have your own sewing room! We definitely downsized, as we have already bought our new home. It's 2,000 square feet smaller and a bit of a fixer upper, but the fixing up has to wait until...

    Re: House Selling Angst

I like that "option fee" idea. I'm going to see if that can be done in California.

I don't think the buyers' funding fell apart, as this all happened over the holiday weekend, and they cancelled on...

    Re: House Selling Angst

    Thank you, Suzanne.

I'm going to have a serious talk with my realtor. I believe she gave us bad advice about not getting the buyers' earnest money. Yes, they had legal recourse to back out if the...

    House Selling Angst

After knocking myself out staging our home to sell, the listing went live the day before Thanksgiving.

Re: For the book lover on your Xmas list

Jocelyn, I'm glad you recommended this book. It will make me take a second look at Stephen King. I've never read anything he wrote, and I've only seen one of his movies (something like Secret...

    Re: It's finally Friday

As you all know, I run a bit late. Always. So I'm just getting the backing to my Angela Walters quilt challenge top sewn to size. I'm using the John Flynn diagonal seam method. I was really scared...

I'm so glad to hear that you are still under warranty! You must feel quite relieved.

Yes, please do post an update. I'd love to hear what happens.

Re: I just had to get it.

I'm super tempted by the M* Oliso, but I own too many irons already!

I love my older Panasonic cordless (shaped like an iron, not a football). But last week, I accidentally got Steam-A-Seam on the...
  23. Re: Juki 2010q makes 2-3 stitches after I let off the pedal or press needle down button
