They are made by Chex Mix - some people call them puppy chow. It's chex cereal coated with peanut butter and chocolate then rolled in powdered sugar.

I have made this snack mix recipe before and put in mason jars. Tie a ribbon or raffia around the top of the jar, or cut a piece of fabric to tie over the top.
