    Re: 15" square rotary ruler

I used it when I made a sweatshirt quilt last Christmas. It worked great for the size of the prints on the sweatshirts... I didn't have to wrestle or turn it to rotary cut. I just put it on my large...
  5. Re: Has anyone encountered your partner not being okay with gifts?

I've given away many a quilt... my husband doesn't tell me what I should and shouldn't do. He always asks "Who is this quilt for?" And we move along.

Re: The LA ruined my perfectly square corners

I don't tack or baste all sides of a quilt before I quilt it. I do a basting stitch across the top edge after putting it on LA, before quilting.

    Re: Tshirt Quilt BIG question

If you are worried about it... you could use heat and bond to put flannel to the back the T's, it would work to stablize and thicken the T's just enough to be the same as the sweatshirts. Good Luck!
  12. Re: Another shipping story, another customer disappointed, another customer who loves MSQC

I'm not sure how someone who has been here such a short time, who doesn't know them could say such a rude thing. I've been a customer a bit longer than you, I've attended 6 retreats, shopped in store...

I love the binding tool. I've made numerous quilts and table runners with it. Ready to do another quilt and some fall runners.

Re: Poly Pellets w/ heating pad

I've always heard you shouldn't use weight on a heat pad, you can burn yourself.

    Re: My Birthday went by...

It's made by Rowena... it has a tank that pumps stem through a hose to the iron. Google Jordan Fabrics to see Donna Jordan use it when she makes quilts.

    Re: Periwinkle on point tutorial

The quickest way to find out is to make a block. I always make a sample lock before committing to a whole quilt.
