    this sounds so frustrating;I think that I would just get another template, use a smaller rotary blade and go slow when I cut. Good luck with this.

    so sorry to hear that this thread is giving you grief. I have never used this thread. I usually just use aurifill. I love it. It is 50wt.Comes in many colors and works well.

    I love my olfa rotary cutter and blade-I think that it works the best for me. My handle is a plain one that auto safety locks when I am not using it.

    Don't worry to much about it. I have done both ways and it works out well. pin it well and make sure you use starch and a hot iron.
