    Re: Giveaway Week 30 Aug 8th -14th

I guess I would say - in quilt sewing - it would be not having a consistent 1/4 inch seam allowance. Honestly though, I constantly make a new kind of mistake all the time - good golly, Miss Molly,...

    Re: Giveaway Week 29 Jul 31st - Aug 7th

Only was able to sew about an hour today. We took a few days off and I took along a hand-sewing project which provided me with a bit of sewing while we were traveling.

    Re: Giveaway Week 29 Jul 31st - Aug 7th

Yep, I'm really lucky. Most every day I can get in a bit of sewing even if it's just a few stitches on my EPP project. Today I've been working on a few blocks of Bonnie Hunter's Texas Tumbleweeds...

I've helped my oldest granddaughter to learn to sew. Been thinking I should have the oldest grandson come over to make something.

    Re: Giveaway Week 17 May 1st - 8th

My 'beginner's quilt' project is still undone! I started it in 2007 - it was before the epic 500 year flood hit our community in 2008. I have no excuse...I have so many UFOs that I've run out of...

Well, that's half and half!! I did a QAL awhile back and we all made a particular block and we also made a siggy block to add to the regular 9" block; I'm not sure if that counts but I consider it...

You've got me there. Easy and quick makes me think of a 4-patch. Rewarding? Well, any block I complete is a reward so guess I'll just stick with the 4-patch.

    Re: Giveaway Week 5 &6! Feb 6th -13th

I do a bit of both ways. Quite often, though, I have to buy some extra fabric for borders or sashing even if I am using scraps. The Daily Deal is a great way to stock up on my fabric collection and...
