Re: Not quilting BUT good for craft fairs.

I just ordered the stuff for 1" wide leashes. I can make 10 leashes 6 ' long for $28 including tax but not including any fabric. That makes each leash $2.80 so well under $5 even with fabric.

It is a true blessing that her injuries are not life threatening.

Re: Not quilting BUT good for craft fairs.

Honest to goodness I started making these just for my own dogs. Everywhere we go people ask where I got the collars.
They are beefy at 1.5" and the colorful fabrics I have on the others are...

Not quilting BUT good for craft fairs.

Ok I know this is not quilting but I have been making these for my BIG dogs. For my really big dogs the total cost is under $3 including my 2.5" strip of fabric.

Re: Picking a pattern for group quilt

I would look for a pattern that if the blocks are trimmed the pattern is not lost. Something that doesn't have matching points from block to block might work.

While I am in love with the colors Jenny used bold colors with light color pinwheels would be interesting.

    Re: 9 Patch Pattern Confusion

I like my triangles closer to block size too.

I think a 5" square would get you a lot closer with less waste.
Maybe cut a 5" out of scrap and see if that is closer. ...

Oh!! That's a good idea too! If you make one please post it too. I love looking at all the pretty things others make.

I went and had a look. Yours turned out really nice. The added hst's really have it some added pizzazz.

There are lots of options with those big white spaces.....

    Thanks for the ideas everyone.

Re: What to do with this?

Yeah the math is wonky. The blocks would have to be 12" finished size I think so 12.5 before....?....math is definitely not my strong point.

I like the prairie points idea. I always thought those...

    Re: EASY CHRISTMAS PANEL PLACEMATS!

I liked the panel she used....not so much the other particular fabrics.

I do see how this can be used with other panels and quilt blocks.

Easy, quick and could be part of a nice gift set.
