    Re: Help with Skipped Stitches...

I tried a few things and in the end...well, last night I started removing all the quilting I've done. I was just not happy with it at all.

It seems I'm getting the tops done, but the quilting part is still not happening...I can't seem to get to a store for backing. :(

Re: Big Big Mistake on My First Log Cabin Quilt

Actually, it was my error...everything was cut perfect and all the squares are right, I just trimmed it down when I shouldn't have. I should have read the instructions one more time to be clear.

    Re: Bowl Cozies

If you're going to use your cozie in the microwave, use Wrap n Zap...regular batting can cause a fire in microwaves.

    Re: Quilt too long?

You know...I love strip quilts. It's the very first quilt I ever made...the jelly roll race. I'm not really sure what I was aiming for or why I even cut the strips in half...it was a snap decision....

Love it! I wanted to make that one but the price was steep. I never thought about using my own fabrics. that puts another light on it. You did a great job...it's gorgeous.

That's awesome. Did you pick out the fabrics to go with others, or is it totally random? I really love it.
