Re: Saw This and Thought Maybe...

My sister has the Martelli table and it is fabulous!

This is a good idea, but my cutting mat is bigger than the table is.
  2. Re: Programs for those in need... not me. well, maybe not.

Our daughters each cost $9.30 to have. MM was in the Marines at the time and the cost of $3.10 per day was to pay for the food consumed!!

    Re: Motels in Cameron

Dolores, Andrea and I shared a triple room (three queen beds) at the Super 8. We stayed there a week and per person (two years ago), it came out to $29 a night.

    Re: pins

I use the pins that are about 2" long with yellow ball heads on them. Can't remember the brand as I bought them so long ago, but I can vouch that they are still very sharp!

    Re: Oh no, help

To remove blood, if it is your own, use your saliva. If that fails, use hydrogen peroxide.

    Re: question about cutting mats

The Martelli 50% sale should be coming up soon. I believe I bought my mat during July just over five years ago.
  9. Re: Problems with FMQ a Laura Heine collage quilt - stiches skip and thread breaks on steam-a-seam

I'm pretty sure it is the SAS. I think my pattern of hers called for the lite version.

    Re: Scissors for small hands?

Check Kai scissors. I have both the five inch and six inch size and I think either would work.

Re: Good use of donated fabrics

The group I am with does not allow words, animals, etc. Patterns and solid colors are good.

I know the site went down earlier and was supposed to be back around 1700 west coast time.

Re: Good use of donated fabrics

I also belong to a group who makes these. We do just the pads and liners, another group does the bags (I'd rather be in that group!!)

I'm not certain how many were made since by friend and I...

Re: Can I rant a little?

Quite frankly, I'm surprised you let the C-Max go! I got one last summer and LOVE it!! I think I have gotten gas seven or eight times, and each tank is half the price of what my SUV took. The last...

The junior high school I went to held a big May Day celebration every year. Four times a year in PE class, they would have posture competitions. Your PE uniform had to be clean and crisp and we...
  19. Re: Update on stationarymom (Joan) --2019 update, read 2nd page comments

This is such very sad news. I thought of her often. She at one point ordered a bag from me for her daughter and we joked back and forth about that as it was for the Patriots.

Re: Did your doorbell ring today?

I think of that every May 1!!! I loved to do that when I was little.

In Hawaii, May 1 is Lei Day. That is how I always refer to it now. Here is a picture I took on a trip to Hawaii...…
