    Bigfoot is in the trees

My husband loves to watch Bigfoot shows on tv so I sewed up this bigfoot quilt from an Elizabeth Hartman pattern. It went fairly quickly.

I finished my simple batik baby quilt. I just straight-lined quilted it, for I am afraid of FMQ!

    Re: WiP Oct 4 - 10, 2019

Well I finished the baby quilt top and I don't have the backing fabric yet for it. There is enough left of the jelly roll to make another so I guess that's what I'll start on now. I'm on a roll! ...

    Re: Pre-wash flannel precuts?

I never wash precuts, even flannel ones. Cheap flannel does shrink more than good quality flannel.

    Re: Do Batiks have selvedges?

My eyes aren't sharp enough to see a difference and I can't feel a difference in the weave. I guess I will just play it safe and trim the ends. Thank you everyone.

    Do Batiks have selvedges?

I just opened my first Batik Jelly Roll. The strips do not appear to have selvedges. Is this true? Nothing to cut off? (sorry if this is a stupid question.)

Today's weather is supposed to hit a high of 72. It was chilly last night. We went out to dinner with my neighbor and my MIL. It was a nice change of pace. Today I will...

Carol, this is such a coincidence. I'm sewing snowballing corners and just put down a line of washi tape on my machine to help me. My tape doesn't have the nice lines that this does, but it is...
