    Re: Hello, Sailor!

Thank you! This is now my favorite bag. It's really too large for me to carry everyday but I wanted to show the print in full. Blue Calla Patterns are my favorite (other than my own designs😊) and...

Re: My new bag, not 1, but TWO zippers

Very nice! I put zippers in some of my bags in opposite directions on purpose. To me, it adds visual interest. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. 😄😉

    Hello, Sailor!

I fell in love with this fabric by Alexander Henry because it reminds me of my retired Coast Guard hubby. His beard is white now but he was a ginger when he was in uniform. And he has blue eyes....

    Re: Bags, bags, bags

Blue Calla patterns are probably the ones I purchase the most. Easy to follow instructions and I always end up with a bag I like. Like most people though, I tweak every pattern I buy to work for me....

    Re: Bags, bags, bags

Thanks! Batman, though not a great conversationalist, listens to all my profanities and doesn't judge me. He sees how frustrating bag making can be at times but just stands there quietly so not to...

    Bags, bags, bags

I've been spending a lot of time in my happy room lately. 😊 And Miss Daisy is now wearing her tattoos proudly.

    Re: Janome 14000

    Janome 14000

Do you have the Janome 14000? If so, what do you like/dislike about it? I currently have the 9400 (6 mos old) and a brother nq1400e (embroidery only used 4 times) but I don't have room for both of...

    Re: Cute little fabric basket

I found batman at my local Goodwill store. I was looking for Deadpool or Ironman but the dark crusader was standing there all serious. So, I brought him home with hopes of helping him chill a little...

    Saltwater Taffy

The first thing I thought of when I pieced this. And then I started wishing I had a box of taffy. LOL! Now to find a nice color for the border.

    Quick and Scrappy

I was on a roll today! I made two cushion covers and this scrappy top. I had jelly roll strips left over so pulled out a layer cake and made this top. Quick and easy.

    Re: Stacks

Thanks, everyone! I will give a try. I used up every bit of my scraps and made two pillow covers to go with the quilt. I made envelope backs after I took this picture.154387

    Re: Stacks

Thanks for the vote of confidence! I'll probably just do a wavey stitch down the rows. I need a lot of practice before I try fmq on a quilt this size.
