    Re: Disappointed

I've not seen the newest issue yet, but did you look for it by name or by image? I've noticed that sometimes the names of the quilts are different in the magazine than they are on the tutorials.

  3. Re: Is this correct? Serenity yardage! Pricing?!

I'm in the "they REALLY need to fix their search engine"camp since when I searched Serenity all that came up were the 3 Tula Pink prints.

I've hear that fabric was going up and thought maybe this...
  4. Re: Is this correct? Serenity yardage! Pricing?!

Are you talking about the Tula Pink Serenity yardage? It is $11.50
  5. Re: Do admins edit comments without notification?

    Re: Backing question

Yes, and hopefully when the longarmer layers the quilt they will have all of the sewn on piece as the "extra" so you don't end up with a seam on the back.

I just wanted to make sure that you were...

    Re: Backing question

It needs to be 4 inches all around. So if your quilt is 60 inches your back should be 68
  8. Re: Do admins edit comments without notification?

Your Wednesday comment hasn't been edited as far as I can tell. It does show if I edit someone's comment. I will do yours above to show you. BTW, your Pan pics are on Tuesday if that was what you...
  9. Re: Do admins edit comments without notification?

I've not removed any comment or photos in a month. A couple threads have been deleted that turned out to have been from people that ended up being spammers, but that is it. Which thread was your...
  10. Re: WHOAH!! Are we spammed up this morning!!!!!!!!!!!

Do what I did. Got rid of the landline. I have all my contacts in my cell phone. If I don't know a number that comes up I let it go to voicemail. If it is a sales or robo call the number then gets...

Re: EEEEekkkkkk Im actually doing this!!!

I'm honestly surprised with as much as you used to quilt and as close as you are to M* that you never made it there yet. Too busy traveling to Mexico. ;) Welcome aboard Kate!
  12. Re: Different apple pie recipe #1: Bacon apple pie

This crust recipe is really old. I'm not even sure they make Spry anymore, but it works with Crisco, as that is all I have ever used. It really does whip up fluffy and the crust stays flaky

If your machine have an automatic bar tack, sometimes with the buttonhole stitches, that would be exactly what you are talking about using. I am pretty sure that Jean Sewing Machine started out using...

I did a search and saw someone recommend it in 2013, so it is an lder model that might be discontinued
  17. Re: Uber or other transportation from Cameron to KC airport

Nate is Jenny's brother. I knew it was in the retreat info, just couldn't get to it on my phone. Fingers are too big and I kept hitting the wrong thing!
  18. Re: Uber or other transportation from Cameron to KC airport

I think one of Jenny's brothers does the Uber thing. If I can find the info I will post it

Toni, you were mentioned fondly at the retreat this year. Several talked about you bringing your guitar and singing with Jenny.

    Re: 2020.....

Charyti is the picture girl. She probably hasn't had a chance to upload anything. I'm not sure when she sewed anything as I always seemed to see her with a camera stuck to her.

    Re: Kai Scissor Sale?

Best way to keep track of them is sign up for their emails. They do NOT spam you all the time. I've not had anything from them in a while. I think their sale is usually close to Black Friday
