That is so awesome. I'm very impressed with the collar.
  3. Re: Make a "Bow Tie Crisscross" Quilt with Jenny Doan

    Is my math thinking correct?

It looks like each block would need 10 charms and there are 9 blocks, so that's only 90 charms, so with Jenny's method (3 charm packs) you would have left over...

    From Grandma

My thoughts, a newborn doesn't have the ability to open a gift, or the knowledge to appreciate the gift, but that doesn't stop us from buying them clothes, toys, quilts,...

    Re: House Selling Angst

Toni, I'm so sorry the deal fell thru, I know how frustrating that can be. But on the up side, thankfully it didn't happen the day of closing! That's how I ended up buying my current home: multiple...

    Re: Sad Commentary

Ktdid, I'm so sorry for your loss. I never heard of Kaye Wood, so her passing away was a surprise to me. I know though that losing someone you respect and care about is painful so I hope you find...

Re: Thread wrapping around spool pin

Oh My! What a mess! So glad it didn't do any damage to the machine, but I'm sure it frayed your nerves.

Many years ago, my DIL borrowed my old Kenmore to hem some pants, after about 6 months I...

    Re: Courtship Quilt

I don't have the answer for you, but the pattern is available for purchase, the digital download version is less than $4, and I'm sure it would have all the measurements that you need.

Re: Thread wrapping around spool pin

I don't have that particular model, but I do have several vintage Singers, and have encountered that problem before. I have found three things that can cause the thread to spin around the spindle.

    Re: Block Magazine Index

I only know two ways to search, one is to visually look thru the index, the other is to create an Excel spreadsheet (which I did and I suspect others may have as well) and I update my spreadsheet...

  16. Re: Wonky Pieced Christmas Tree Quilt Tutorial - with BUTTONS!

This is cute. I have a tray full of Christmas leftover strips and have been wondering what to do with them.

I'm glad to hear you got your order so quickly. Curious, did you pay the extra fee for the quicker shipping? Or is MSQ using a different shipping method for Canada orders?

  21. Re: Make a "Square Knot" Quilt with Jenny Doan

I wondered the same thing when I first watched the video this morning, then realized after cutting four 4.5" and four 2.5" strips (total 28" used per strip), that left about 14" to 16" unused, which...
  22. Re: Please Help Me Find Pattern Sheet Le Bouquet Quilt Kit
