This is a string quilt that my Mother had started (she made all the stars) and I finished (applique & sashing)...
  2. Re: How To Make A "Trip Around The World" Quilt the EASY WAY!

My DH watched the video with me this morning. He wants one! Which tickles me, as much as he loves his quilts, he doesn't usually get so excited about one that he picks out the pattern. Guess I...

Re: Help me re-create this log cabin

What I see is that the last two strips (one white, one blue) in each block are snowballed to create a quarter of the star. Of course I'm looking at it on a really tiny screen though.
  5. Re: Need help - how to fix warped cutting mat? (and a warning!)

I just checked the Olaf website, sadly they say there is no way to remove warping, and recommend using the mat for paper cutting :(
  6. Re: 3 more VictorIa Quilt tops to be finished

Thank you Suzanne for sharing the info about your group. It sounds like a very loving and compassionate group. You've produced so many beautiful quilts that I couldn't help but wonder how you find...
  7. Re: 3 more VictorIa Quilt tops to be finished

    Suzanne, they are lovely.

I am curious though, I am assuming that VQC is your local quilt club (guild), but can you tell us about the program the quilts are for?

Re: Thanks - item came in 3-4 days

Kudos to MSQ, sure they occasionally make mistakes with an order - just like any other company, but they are so quick to rectify the mistake.

Re: Fan Quilt finnished for a friend

Karen, if your friend doesn't weep with joy, don't worry I'm doing it for her. I love it when anyone brings life into a project that someone else wasn't able to complete, and you did a wonderful job...

Me too. And the invoice is checked off, and if something is backordered or shipping in another box it's indicated on the invoice.

Welcome Kat to the forum, you're gonna love it here! Jump in the quilt pool, where the water is always warm, sometimes a little scary, but always beautiful (there's no such thing as an ugly quilt!)....

    Re: Quilt Culture

Suzanne, "Bless your heart" isn't so much a "mean" comment, it's more of a shamming. Usually said after someone has said or done something rude or insulting, so instead of stooping to their level us...
