A Queen mattress is 60" X 80" so with the 93" X 93" you would get about the same amount hanging on the sides and the bottom of the mattress. Wish I had measured my mattress before making a quilt...

I use a fan. I'm hot natured so it does double duty. The noise it creates covers up a lot of annoying sounds.
