    Re: Oil for Juki 2010q

I'm glad I don't have to oil my DSM. I do oil the Baby Lock Tiara II table LA as needed, per manual instructions. I'm still using from the container that came with the machine, which has a small...

Good Morning, Everyone ~ My clock radio blasted on at 5 a.m. I asked myself why it was so loud! Duh! I forgot to put my ear plugs in when I went to bed last night. I was soooo tired when I went...

Re: Anyone else thought about this?

I also have a computerized DSM. I've never had a problem. It's important to keep them plugged into a good surge protector. I use surge protectors for our TV, computer, DSM, & LA.

    It's Friday! TGIF :)

Good Morning, Everyone ~ Another nippy morning. Just 50 deg. It's barely 70 deg. in the house & feels cool.

Well, I wasn't as ambitious yest. After spending the morning baking the bread, I...

    Re: Pinked Edges.....Grrrr

I agree about some of the fabric combos on Jordan Fabrics. I'm not crazy about some of the fabrics they combine for their log cabin quilts. Sometimes they seem too "busy". I sure wish I could visit...

    Re: Thursday Hellos! :)

One problem when gifting items is when the kids/gr. kids live a long ways away. DS#1 lives in MD (I know his wife is not interested in my stuff), DH's 2 sons live in N. ID. They already have taken...

If you want JRs that don't have pinked edges, buy from Jordan Fabrics. Matt cuts a lot of what they sell.

    Re: Mid Arm thoughts

The Baby Lock LA -- I think it's the Coronet -- is designed so it can be lowered so one can sit to quilt. But it may be only on a 5' frame.

Monique ~ Thanks for posting. We all have been so concerned about you. A person can live w/o power & some of the necessities for a short time, but it gets old after a while. I've browsed the web...

It's so sad that so many of those emergency workers who responded to the towers & area either already have died or are dealing with cancer & other illnesses related to the exposure on that day.

If a person already has been doing FMQ on their domestic, it's not necessary to buy a stitch regulator. They cost extra.

    Re: Pinked Edges.....Grrrr

Yes, those pinked edges can be a nuisance. I measure to see where I need to sew -- at the tips of the points or at the bottom of the groove, so my 1/4" seam comes out accurately. Also, keep your...
