Re: Craft Fair went well today

No, really after the numbing drops and dilation, about all you see is a very bright light and some movement/shadows.

I guess you could move your head, but to be honest I was to scared to move...

Re: Craft Fair went well today

I had my right eye done last month, and Tuesday I get the left one done. I was shocked by how much my vision in the right eye improved, and if my left eye does as well, I'll be down to readers only....

    Re: Mid Arm thoughts

When I first started researching machines and frames, I was intrigued with the Little Foot and Qzone, then I realized you still have to baste the quilt before putting it on the frame. Well that...

    Re: Dorian Check In

Bubba, as a former Florida resident who went thru plenty of hurricane's (only once did we have to evacuate) I can tell you that if it's a mandatory evacuation and you don't leave...the police, fire...
  6. Re: Make a "Building Blocks" Quilt with Jenny Doan

I like how you alternated the direction of the blocks, it certainly solves the issue of that other's have mentioned about the lack of sashing on the left and bottom sides. And your center panel is...

Thank you Katrina for the update. So happy to hear that you are safe.

    Re: Cell phones and Grandkids

I have mixed feelings about a 7 year old having a cell phone. A child needs to be able to (and to know that they can), contact their parents at any time! Especially a child who's time is divided...

    Re: Well traveled, no passport

Just for giggles, I plugged all those cities into MapQuest to see the route your package has taken. Amazing.... 1900+ miles to arrive at it's destination (or at least current location) that is only...

    Re: One Block Wonder

Here's my version of the one block wonder quilt. It's amazing how many different blocks you can achieve from one piece of fabric.

    Re: Diamond Chain Pattern

Evy, have you thought of using two colors for the chains, so that they cross in the middle? You could order yardage instead of charms (1/2 yard of each color) and cut your own charms, and that way...

Re: What's your best quilt story?

Not my "first" quilt story, but it's my best: Prior to my Mother passing away, I was tasked by her to complete her UFOs for her. Mom was an avid quilter, and at that time I was a dabbler, but that...

    Re: Backing selvedge question
