    Re: Several Finishes

Love all of your quilts, but the 2 Bonnie Hunter quilts have a special place in my heart. She is such a fun person and a great quilter and quilt designer!

Re: 'Twas the night before Christmas

Sure hope they visit my house! I got several reading pillows embroidered and assembled today, I have 2 more to embroider, but 4 total to assemble. Assembly is fast though! Hope to finish at some...

    Re: Five Leader/Ender Donation Quilts

Wonderful idea! I love having squares going on the side or strip sets, but usually leader/ender with the other parts for the same quilt. You've got me thinking differently and I love it!

    Re: Opinions Please.....Lime or Lavender

I vote for lime! It really makes it pop! The lavender would make a lovely quilt, but I like the vibrancy of the lime.

Re: I think I have to change my will

Hugs to you as this all unfolds. Grief brings out the worst in some people. To take some of the unknown out of the situation - which creates fear, it would be good to know what he can and can't do....

Re: New year - Learning a new method!

I love landscape quilts, but have not attempted them yet. I have watched lots of videos and bought a few books. Maybe that should be my goal for this year?

Can't wait to see your projects!

    Re: My husband

So sorry for your loss. Sewing has helped me grieve - something soothing about that hum of the sewing machine. I started sewing more seriously after my dad passed away in 2010. You will know when...

Re: How do you do it?

You could do a combo method and work on a few blocks at the same time. You would get some of the speed of chain piecing, but still the satisfaction of completing blocks and not getting too confused...
  17. Re: Amazing Amazon Star- My first Quiltworx pattern

    Agreed that this is stunning!

Her patterns are great, aren't they?!?! I have done parts of a table topper so far. I find paper piecing relaxing - it's kind of like color by number!

I am glad that you went in and are getting this taken care of. Our son had problems when he was quite young and they ended up doing some test that figured out one portion of his colon was longer...
