    Re: Well traveled, no passport

If it wasn't so frustrating it would be purely comical.:icon_rolleyes:

Well, since "they have the BEST transportation network available" I guess they need to make good use of...

    Re: It's Tuesday

A little jealous of your chill! It has at least been raining - a LOT here, so temps haven't been as bad as they could be. I just love cutting up scraps - I could spend days doing just that.

    Hope ...

There seemed to be some problem with the website early this morning but seems to be up and okay now. I look forward to the new tutorials on Friday too. ;-)

No, I have not seen one before, but wonder what it costs? I actually have a Sapphire model I have never used.

    Re: Daily deal today

I was sooooo tempted. I too have the previous charm pack and my sister - who plans to retire in Maine - loves Moose.

I would love to see what you do with it when you are done!
  8. Re: MADE MY OWN PATTERN! Donna's FREE BEADS Quilt!

I really like this one and how she laid it out using the alternating warm and cool colors.

This would make a great Christmas quilt using alternating red and green. I could use lots of scraps!
  9. Re: Story from a Kansas State Highway Patrol officer 👮

"Gun toten gramma's" - love it! Personally I HATE guns and always said I would never have one in my house. Now my son has two. I hate that our society has come to the point where I am now okay with...

  11. Re: Beta testers needed for new MSQC Shipping program

KTdid- Just wondering why you omitted the 2-3 Day USPS priority mail option for $4.95? I didn't check the other prices, but this is one I know and use.

Al - I agree with those who say that we just...

Jewel Box is another name for this very versatile block!
  14. Re: Make a "Diamond Chain" Quilt with Jenny Doan

One of my favorite blocks - also known as Jacob's Ladder and Buckeye Beauty as well as other names. I really love this little star fabric - going to have to put a couple in my cart. Very pretty!

Re: Toasty Cotton Batting on sale

I was so excited when I saw the text and got there only for it to be sold out. Decided not to try to order as it seemed to be sold out everywhere. Was anyone able to use the $25 off $75 dollar...

I'm not sure I would have seen it if you hadn't pointed it out. Definitely a design decision ;-)

    Happy Yorkshire Day!

Makes me hungry for one of my favorite meals - Roast Beef and Yorkshire pudding!!!
  18. Re: Quilt Making Fun at Jordan Fabrics - BELLAGIO Tutorial!

Yes, it makes sense. My question is she says it one way, but demonstrates it the other ( at 7:02 in video). Then, in the end, the nine patches are pressed as you said, but I don't see the need since...

I am confused on the way to press the seam allowances on the nine patch, though???

Re: Is acid free storage a big deal

Quilts were stored in wooden "Hope Chests" for years. Wood is the source of lignin - the acid in paper products. I agree with Carolyn about old photos or heirloom quilts, but I think what you have...

I have a spider web WIP that uses all colors. I really like the one color look too! And yes, I found Waldo! :-) Love little "surprises" in a quilt!
